Second summer vacation day, I have too many nice shots to sort from the last shooting and there is the sun coming out, thus I'm actually not in the mood to sit in front of the PC 🙂
An IR shot I recently saw in Athena's @athenacarey profile reminded me, that I never had tried the Leica M10M for infrared shots. Found and dedusted the IR filters and tried them on a Summicron 50mm: Need a hood, funny reflection when too much sun, can't remember the filter IR range as no marking on it, not too suitable for manual shots either. Second filter was R72 and fitted on an Elmarid 28mm, filter was bright enough for handheld shots in sunny environment, even on 5.6. First tests on the balcony are fun. I had another flash of inspiration as a picture I saw in Helmis @helmi_sigg profile reminded me, that I have a nice castle just around the corner. First test was successful 🙂
