I just stumbled over my first studio shoot from years ago – Helena and I had so much fun that I later decided to permanently rent a studio. This is a homage to an ad campaign of the early 2000 where the original of this picture was posted next to our office for a while.

I think I probably just opened Pandoras box :-) As a first test drive of my scanning project of my own families photo heritage I prepared an old iMac and one of my Nikon Coolscans as a scanning station. I ran a few films the last days and got really addicted on the black and white film of my mom from her Berlin days around 1948. But seeing all the scratches there will be a huge amount of renovation work. More from Berlin end of the 40ies, check also what film was new that time, so my guess it's 1948.

Here I just spend 20 minutes on the faces and every time I zoom in I find more… If anybody has a guess on the stadion and football game (I have more pictures) let me know.

We live a little outside of Zurich and one of my before Corona time goals was already to show the beauty of the landscape over here. Now that we should not go too far away from home let's have a series of pictures from our balcony. I like the "mountain area" a little up and the recent snow made it extra scenic. . .

We live a little outside of Zurich and one of my before Corona time goals was already to show the beauty of the landscape over here. Now that we should not go too far away from home let's have a series of pictures from our balcony. I like the "mountain area" a little up and the recent snow made it extra scenic. My favorite tree unfortunately suffered from the heavy snowfall we had. . .
